The Pillar Ridge Community occupies 24 acres in the center of this aerial image, between the coastal bluff and Half Moon Bay Airport. Pillar Point, in the lower left corner, contains an Air Force tracking station and is closed to the public. The entire western coastline in this image is within the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. The shoreline along the bottom of the image is within Pillar Point Harbor and contains Pillar Point Marsh and the marine-related industrial village of Princeton.
